MINI ALTERED TIN

Yesterday I went to a short workshop with Rosie and we made altered mini tins. I used alcohol inks, distress powders and tissue tape to create a 'Holtz type' effect.

Rosie used Paper Artsy Fresco paints and stamped little bird images, which looked so pretty and was lovely because she had never done anything like this before. We also made little concertina books to go inside but I bought mine home to finish because I wasn't sure what I was going to do. I think I also talked too much!

All in all a lovely 'mother and daughter' bonding session.

Your tin looks great Jan, really old and antique-y looking and very Tim Holtz! Shame we can't see Rosie's tin too, bet it's just as beautiful as yours x

This is lovely!! Couldn't have been talking that much. Is the 'frame' a metal embellishment or did you make it yourself?
