APPARENTLY...........

I have it on the strictest authority from my youngest grand-daughter Ashleigh (who is 25) that it is 'de rigueur' at the moment to be wearing a scrabble tile ring with your initial on it!

Having 'dabbled with scrabble' in the past I dipped into my enormous stash of scrabble tiles gathered from various charity shops over the years (and which would take me a lifetime to use LOL), only to find that because I had searched at that time for 'vintage' tiles, mine were all wooden and the rings are made from the more modern 'plastic' tiles. So Rosie my daughter came to my aid, sent me a couple and in the blink of an eye I was able to stick them onto ring bases. One of them I decided to 'bling up' and added some crystal gems, topped with diamond glaze to seal them.

A passing fashion phase no doubt, but certainly not worth buying when a couple of minutes work produces two !

All these folks going round with scrabble tiles on their fingers will look at their photos in a few years in total horror. However, that said, your interpretation is really brilliant. xx Maggie
