HOPEFULLY PRACTICE WILL MAKE PERFECT (EVENTUALLY!)

I had a little play with my Serif Craft Artist Digi Kits yesterday and made this card for my son in law. All the elements are digital and I love the way the shadow effect makes them look as though they are superimposed. I printed my design out and matted and layered it before mounting it on the card The basics of the programme are very easy to use but there is so much that can be done that I am only on the very first rung of the ladder. I'll persevere and hopefully will improve....fun though in the meantime!

Brilliant card Jan, if this is what you have produced now, just think what you will be making as you get to know more.

Oh you'll have such fun with this cracking program, Jan :-) I don't use mine as much as I do Photoshop Elements (partly out of habit and I know where things are on PSE) but I have fun when I do play. And your card is fantastic. Keep playing!

You and me both Jan!! I succumbed to it and am astonished by what you can do and frustrated about everything I don't know ... yet!! It's just a matter of time and practice I guess. I didn't think I'd like digital crafting but it has got me out of a hole quickly on a couple of occasions already and helps with those cards you want to make personal but where the recipients probably won't appreciate grunge or paper flowers... great work!!
