I love planes..... and boats and train engines. Should have been a boy I suppose! I think the love of planes came from when I was a child and feeling thrilled at watching squadrons of planes come across the sky during the war. It gave me no fear, and can still remember the roar of their engines. Also my Dad, in his later working life, was involved in aviation radar and used to take me to the air shows. I must admit now though, I would rather watch than travel in them!This card is using a painting by Kevin Walsh from the Joanna Sheen Nostalgia collection.

Beautiful card Jan. I love to watch the old planes too - when we went to the Southend Air Show a few years back a highlight was seeing some dip their headlights as a salute - that's probably all the wrong terminology! I love seeing the Red Arrows too x
gorgeous Jan. my husband would LOVE this. he flies Radio controlled aircraft and has recently built a spitfire. Now he has to work up the courage to fly it! lol

Hi Jan, I hope you are well and I am loving this card, just the kind of card i need for the men around here (we have a few birthdays coming up lol ) I am inspired to go and make some now.
