THEY WERE RIGHT!
The weather forecasters were right.............................it rained yesterday and very heavily at times!! So our village fair was, for the second year, a washout! A few brave souls ventured out but I was very lucky because I had opted to have my table in the Pavilion so I was dry and when people came in to shelter or to get refreshments, I was THERE!!! So I didn't do too badly. My trusty friend Jenny was my sales manager for the day (!) and she did an absoloutely brilliant job at selling ..... which I'm totally no good at. SO, not many things to bring home and I got 2 orders for mirrors and collaged tissue boxes which was nice. Will I do it next year? Possibly...... with a view to starting early and with my fingers crossed once again for some sunshine!
